TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State women's basketball fell to the Southern Illinois Salukis by a score of 64-45 Sunday inside the Hulman Center despite strong second and third quarter runs. led the way for the Sycamores with nine points.
The first and fourth quarter proved to be the demise of the Sycamores in their second conference loss to SIU. Indiana State only put four points on the board in the first and found themselves in an eight-point deficit. The Sycamores battled back in the second quarter closing the gap, but could not hold on in the second half as they only shot four for 17 in the fourth quarter.
