Sycamores Return to Tennessee of Purple and Gold Classic

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State will return to the friendly hospitality of The Volunteer State this weekend when the Sycamores compete in the Purple & Gold Classic at Lipscomb.

After an opening weekend in Tennessee (Chattanooga) where the Trees went 5-1, ISU played in Bowling Green, Kentucky and won two of the five games. Now with an overall record of 7-4, the Sycamores will go to The Music City and face ETSU (4-7), Georgia Southern (10-4) and host Lipscomb (7-2).

And for the first time this season, sunny skies await the Trees. With inclement weather impacting its first two tournaments, Indiana State is looking forward to a low chance of rain in the forecast this weekend.
