NORMAL, Ill. – Indiana State baseball came from behind to defeat Illinois State 4-3 Sunday night on its way to a weekend sweep of Illinois State at Duffy Bass Field. The win marked the second-straight weekend sweep for the Sycamores and the sixth-consecutive win of the season; a new season best.
Senior knocked in the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth for the Sycamores (24-20, 10-5 MVC) with a single to left, scoring who led off the inning with a single.
(3-4) pitched a strong four innings in relief, limiting Illinois State to just two hits and a run while striking out three on his way to the win.
