ORLANDO, Fla. -- Indiana State battled with Stanford to the final buzzer, but the Cardinal used a late 3-pointer to escape with a narrow 65-62 victory over the Sycamores on the second day of the Advocare Invitational, which is being held at the HP Fieldhouse on the campus of the ESPN Wide World Of Sports at Walt Disney World Resort.
The Sycamores fell to 2-3 on the season while Stanford improved to 5-1. Indiana State was looking for their first victory over a member of the PAC 12 conference since a 1946 victory over Oregon.
