Box Score DE KALB, Ill. - Indiana State women's soccer fell to Northern Illinois 2-1 in double overtime on Sunday night at the NIU Soccer and Track & Field Complex.
The match remained tied 0-0 for 87 minutes until Northern Illinois' Haley Hoppe scored on a feed from Kali Stock to give the Huskies the lead.
Less than two minutes later, the Sycamores tied the match when Mackenzie Kent scored from deep with Katie Yankey recording the assist to send it into overtime.
The match would go all the way into double overtime where Northern Illinois won it in the 104th minute with Haley Hoppe scoring her second goal on a corner from Kali Stock which was her second assist on the night.
