BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – went 2-for-4 and hit a three-run home run as Indiana State won its seventh straight game with a 7-2 decision over Toledo at the Hilltopper Classic.
The Sycamores (7-1) would never trail as a RBI single the first inning followed by a three-run home run by in the second frame gave Indiana State an early 4-0 lead. Toledo (3-3) would tack on a pair of runs in the third, but that would be the extent of their scoring in the game.
ISU added a run with a RBI double in the bottom of the third to make it a 5-2 game.
