Sycamores Earn 1–0 Road Victory at Southern Illinois

CARBONDALE, Ill. – Indiana State continued its strong conference form with a 1–0 victory over Southern Illinois on Sunday afternoon at the Lew Hartzog Track & Field Complex. Lina Fasquelle's first-half goal proved to be the difference as the Sycamores secured their third shutout in Missouri Valley Conference play.

Indiana State started strong, creating pressure in the attacking third with a pair of corners inside the opening ten minutes. The breakthrough came at 18:59, when Lina Fasquelle buried a left-footed shot to the bottom right corner off an assist from Isabella Berta, giving ISU a 1–0 lead.
