Terre Haute, Ind.—Indiana State defeated Chicago State by a score of seven to zero on a dog filled day at Memorial Stadium.
ISU dominated in every area of the field during the match. The Sycamores only allowed seven shots and goalkeeper Brittany San Roman had five saves. This is Indiana State’s fourth shutout of the season.
Offensively Indiana State had a more than stellar performance. ISU took 18 shots during the game with the goals coming from a plethora of Sycamores.
The first goal was scored in the 25th minute when sophomore Katie Wells shot and the ball rebounded off of the Chicago State goalkeeper where junior Casidy Simonis received the rebound and put the ball in the back of the net from the top of the 18 yard box.
