TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State dropped its midweek matchup Tuesday night as IU Indy capitalized on its chances to hand the Sycamores a 3-0 loss at Memorial Stadium.
IU Indy struck first in the opening half when RS Freshman Hopper found the top left corner with a left-footed effort in the 39th minute. ISU's goalkeeper Alicia Perez kept the Sycamores close before the break, recording three saves. Kaylin Klutcharch registered ISU's best look of the half at 28:07, but her shot was saved by IU Indy's goalkeeper Bambrick.
The Jaguars doubled their lead in the 64th minute as Hannah Roberson converted a left-footed shot into the top center of the net off an assist from Lilly Ma.
