BOCA RATON, Fla. – Indiana State tallied its sixth-straight win Friday evening after defeating No. 20 Florida Atlantic, 10-2, inside FAU Baseball Stadium. With the victory, the Sycamores clinched the series and improved to 9-4 on the season while the Owls moved to 8-5.
Geremy Guerrero was once again impressive on the mound, totaling 13 punchouts in seven and a third innings. The lefty allowed just five base hits, one run and issued only one free pass in the start as he improved to 2-0 on the season. Guerrero sat down FAU in order in three separate innings during the start and allowed only one hit from the fourth to the seventh inning.
