Sycamores Battle but Fall in Close Four-Set Match against Missouri State

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – posted a career-high .524 hitting percentage and registered a season-best seven block assists, recorded her first career double-double, but despite posting its most digs in nearly a month, Indiana State's defense fell in a close 3-1 battle to Missouri State Friday night at ISU Arena.

Set scores were 24-26, 25-22, 25-19 and 25-20.

The Sycamores (7-11, 0-6 Missouri Valley) weathered four lead changes and 10 ties for an opening set victory – its first set win over the Bears since 2015 – but would drop the subsequent three sets. Williams led the Trees with 12 kills while recorded 35 assists and 18 digs.
