Sycamores and Purdue Play For Worthy Cause

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Indiana State and Purdue teamed up for a greater cause on Saturday in front of an enthusiastic crowd inside Mackey Arena as they played an exhibition contest to aid in hurricane relief in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico. Purdue took a 94-72 victory in the game.

All net proceeds from the exhibition will benefit the Greater Houston Community Foundation and the UNIDOS Disaster Relief & Recovery Program to support Puerto Rico.

The entire Sycamore staff wore purple shirts during the game in honor of Darrell Ragland, father of former Sycamore assistant coach David Ragland, who passed away earlier this week after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer.
