CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The Indiana State men's and women's track and field teams recorded several strong performances throughout the men's heptathlon and women's pentathlon at day two of the Jack Jennett Open.
"We had some really good things happen and had a number of personal-bests," assistant coach Anthony Bertoli said. "We have a lot that we can improve on, but overall as a group I thought we did a really good job of dealing with adversity. If an event was a little down or way down, they kept fighting, kept their heads up and kept their positive attitude while staying focused for the next event.
