TERRE HAUTE, Ind.—Despite holding an early lead, the Indiana State Softball team was unable to hold off Bradley as they fell in the rubber match of the three-game series on Sunday at Price Field.
Bradley struck first in the top of the first inning when the Braves leadoff batter reached on an error and came around to score to take a 1-0 early advantage.
The Sycamores responded in the bottom of the first as junior Erika Crissman hit a one out single before freshman Shaye Barton was hit by a pitch to put runners on first and second with one out.
