ST. LOUIS—The Indiana State softball team has been picked to finish sixth in the Missouri Valley Conference, receiving one first place vote, by the league coaches, and junior Kassie Brown was named to the preseason All-MVC Team, the conference office announced Wednesday (Jan. 27).
"No doubt we are all looking forward to the upcoming softball season," head coach Shane Bouman said. "Being ranked sixth preseason shows how strong the Missouri Valley Conference is and that we have plenty of work ahead of us. A very challenging non-conference schedule should prepare us to compete in the grueling Missouri Valley.
