SPRINGFIELD, Mo.—The Indiana State Softball team fell in a pair of games on the road to Missouri State Saturday, 1-0 and 5-1 on the final weekend of the 2016 season.
GAME ONE
Pitching dominated the first game of the day as there were a comined five hits in the game as Missouri State defeated the Sycamores 1-0.
The Bears took the early lead in the bottom of the second inning when a one out solo home run gave Missouri State all the offense they would need.
The Sycamores threatened in the top of the sixth when junior Kassie Brown hit a one out single and advanced to second on a passed ball.
