CHARLESTON, Ill. – The Sycamore men's and women's track & field teams were both victorious on Friday evening at the EIU Friday Night Special in Charleston, Ill., hosted by Eastern Illinois.
Indiana State's men were victorious with 232.5 points, defeating Illinois State (112), Vincennes (47), Eastern Illinois (41.5) and Lincoln College (38) to round out the top-five teams. The Sycamore women ended with 118 points to defeat Illinois State (104), Northern Illinois (75), Eastern Illinois (53) and Ashmore (39) to round out their top-five teams.
The Sycamore long jumpers had a strong day in the field at Eastern Illinois, led by sophomore Bryan Keubeng.
