TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State Football has teamed up with the Wabash Valley Coaches Association to help bring awareness to Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, and will do so by wearing gold shoelaces in Saturday’s season-opener against Butler.

In addition to the shoelaces, Pacesetter Sports will be selling “Sycamores Tackle Cancer” t-shirts for $10 each, with all proceeds going toward the P.S. We Love You Fund at Riley Hospital for Children. The P.S. We Love You Fund was started in memory of Patrick Stephen Barrett, son of former Sycamore football player Greg Barrett and his wife, Molly, who lost his battle with cancer this past March.
