TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — Indiana State Baseball (35-21, 13-8 MVC) finished 2016 with its eighth consecutive winning season, as they fell to Missouri State in Day Three of the Missouri Valley Conference tournament, 11-4. The Sycamores showed promise, going up on the Bears, 4-0, through the second inning, but would not be able to blank the Bears.
All eyes were on the Sycamores for the first few innings, as they brought the hits and took the early lead, scoring two in the top of the first. Senior Andy DeJesus started the game with a single through the right side and scoring on a double from fellow senior, Andy Young.
