ST. LOUIS -- Indiana State juniors Thilda Staubo and Sophie Benetti picked up MVC Scholar-Athlete honors as announced by the league office earlier today (April 25).
Staubo was named to the MVC Women's Golf First Team while Benetti was honored by being named an honorable mention selection. It is the first such honor for both Sycamores as they recently completed their third season of competition with Sycamore Golf.
Staubo holds a 3.39 grade-point average in exercise science and ranked eighth in the MVC with a 76.18 stroke average in 22 rounds this year.
