TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Three Sycamores went for double-digit kills Friday night against Drake but it wasn’t enough as the Bulldogs picked up a 3-1 (25-19, 22-25, 34-32, 25-23) victory over the Indiana State volleyball team at the ISU Arena.
Bree Spangler and Cassie Kawa each accounted for 16 kills on the night while Melody Burdette added 14 on 35 attempts for the Sycamores who fell to 10-19 and 4-13 in the Missouri Valley. Rachel Griffin eclipsed the 50-assist mark for the fifth time this season after going for 51 on the night.
