SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Six Sycamores had top-10 performances while competing against some of the nation's best during a strong day one of the Meyo Invitational at Notre Dame.
Tristan Parmley went toe-to-toe with conference rival Derrius Rodgers from Illinois State in the 200-meter dash, and ended up third with an impressive new indoor career-best time of 21.52. Not only does that time put him at second in the Missouri Valley, it pushed him into third all-time at Indiana State, just .12 away from second.
In the men's 5K, Akis Medrano ran hard and earned a new personal-record, racing to a 14:29.
