TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State recorded a season high for both shots and shots on goal, but it was visiting SIU Edwardsville who earned a 4-0 victory over the Sycamores on what turned into a sunny afternoon at Memorial Stadium.
The Sycamores fell to 0-4 on the season while SIUE leveled their season record at 1-1-1.
ISU posted a season-high 18 shots on the season, including four from freshman Kate Face. Jensen Margheim tallied three while Sarah Clancy and Anna Holcombe had two each. The Sycamores were credited with eight shots on goal in the contest with Margheim tallying a pair and Danielle Varner, Celeste Wahlberg, Olivia Sharar, Face, Lindsey Anstine and Liz Humphrey the others.
