INDIANAPOLIS -- Led by a tremendous round of 71 from sophomore Sierra Hargens, the Indiana State women's golf team is in third place after the first round of the 2017 Butler Fall Invitational. The event is being held at the par-70, 6,035 yard layout of the Highland Country Club.
Hargens posted a career-best round of 71 as she hit 16 greens in regulation and is currently in a tie for second place for medialist honors. She trails the leader Kylie Raines of Indianapolis who posted a 67 in the opening round. Overall, the Sycamores are in third place in the event after posting a round of 304.
