ST. LOUIS -- Indiana State sophomore Sierra Hargens has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Women's Golfer Of The Week this morning by the league office. It is the first weekly honor for Hargens in her young career and she is the second Sycamore to be honored by the conference office this season. Thilda Staubo was named the MVC Golfer Of The Week following the season opener at Youngstown State.
This week Hargens picked her first career individual victory in thrilling fashion at the Butler Fall Invitational. The event was held at the par-70, 6,035 yard layout of the Highland Country Club.
