NFCA.org – Seventeen Indiana State softball players were honored on the Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-America Scholar-Athlete team as recognized by the organization.
and headline the Sycamores recognized on the team after posting perfect 4.0 GPAs over the academic year as the award recognizes all athletes who achieve a 3.5 or better GPA on a 4.0 scale. The award, sponsored by Easton, will recognize the top 10 academic teams (by overall GPA) in the fall.
The award comes on the heels of the Indiana State softball program posting a 3.68 team spring semester GPA with all 21 players recording a GPA of 3.
