Second Half Rally Falls Short Against Elon

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Indiana State trailed by as many as 17 points late in the first half and used a furious second half rally to go ahead late, but it was visiting Elon that found victory at the final horn, 73-68 inside Hulman Center.

The Sycamores fell to 5-7 on the season while Elon improved to 8-5. It was just the second all-time meeting between the two programs. Indiana State is the only program in the nation this year to play each of the two NCAA Division I schools who have the Phoenix mascot -- splitting games against Green Bay and Elon.
