ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Indiana State swimming and diving's Claire Parsons and Jecza Lopez were named among the Missouri Valley Conference's weekly honorees this week as the Sycamores were recognized following their performances against Vanderbilt and Illinois.
Parsons was named MVC Swimmer of the Week for the first time in the 2025-26 season, while Lopez claimed her third Diver of the Week honors as voted by the conference office.
Parsons put together one of her best performances of the season this past weekend, taking the wins in the 200-, 500-, and 1000-yard Freestyles in leading Indiana State past the Commodores - just the second time in program history the Sycamores have topped an SEC program.
