TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The winds of change blew through Terre Haute on Friday night and Saturday morning, as upsets dominated a blustery day at the 2016 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships, hosted by Indiana State University at LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.
Heavy favorite and No. 1 team in the nation Northern Arizona came through with a strong title win in the men’s 10K – besting No. 3 Stanford by 33 at 125-158 – but that was about the only thing that went according to plan on Saturday.
