KNOXVILLE, TENN. – No. 15 Tennessee connected on five home runs, two off the bat of Gavin Kilen, as the host Volunteers topped Indiana State on Tuesday night at Lindsey Nelson Stadium, 12-1.
The Sycamores (22-26) put runners on the base paths in all seven innings, but Indiana State was unable to capitalize on the opportunities in leaving 10 on base against the Volunteers (38-11).
Mason Roell provided the first scoring opportunity in the top of the third inning as the freshman third baseman drilled a double to the wall in left center.
