Neely advances to 110-meter hurdles finals on a cold Day Two of the Drake Relays

DES MOINES, Iowa – Senior hurdler advanced to the 110-meter hurdles finals tomorrow following a solid run at a chilly Day Two of the 2017 Drake Relays on Friday.

Neely managed to win his heat with a time of 14.03, which was the fourth fastest overall time. He will be competing against fellow national top-50 hurdlers Aaron Mallett (5th), Nate Pozolinski (12th) and Justin Veteto (36th). Neely entered the weekend ranked 18th in the NCAA at 13.79.

The finals for the 110-meter hurdles will take place tomorrow at 3:44 p.m. ET.

The men's 4x200-meter relay team had an excellent day as well, winning their heat and finishing fifth overall with a time of 1:26.
