TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State Baseball (13-8, 0-0 MVC) held an early lead on Big Ten Nebraska (12-7, 0-0 Big Ten), before falling to the Cornhuskers 10-4. Senior Andy DeJesus led the Sycamores with two hits, one being a RBI triple in game one of the two-game series.
The Sycamores took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the third inning as DeJesus doubled, was moved to third by senior Andy Young, and then scored on a Cornhusker wild pitch. Defensively, Indiana State held Nebraska scoreless until the fifth inning.
