SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Indiana State football could not spoil Homecoming for Missouri State Saturday at Plaster Stadium as the Bears rolled to their first Missouri Valley Football Conference win, 59-20. The Bears improve to 2-6, 1-4 MVFC while the Sycamores fell to 0-8, 0-5 MVFC.
Missouri State's offense was clicking all day as they finished with 624 yards and 28 first downs on the afternoon. The Bear offense jumped out to a 17-0 lead before Indiana State was able to find the end zone on a passing touchdown from Isaac Harker to Michael Thomas in the second quarter.
