ST. LOUIS – As part of the celebrations surrounding the 25th Anniversary of women's sports, the Missouri Valley Conference is naming a 25-Year Anniversary Teams for each of the Valley's sponsored women's sports. For women's basketball, Indiana State's Melanie Boeglin was named to the anniversary team.
A 2006 All-American, Boeglin was a four-time All-Missouri Valley Conference honoree while also receiving the league's Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year honors and was a three-time all-tournament team honoree.
Boeglin was a standout player for Indiana State from 2002 to 2006 and received numerous national and MVC honors during her playing career.
