TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State women's soccer's Kaitlynn Long was named this week's Hannig Construction Indiana State Student-Athlete of the Week, as announced by the athletic department Monday afternoon.
Long played a role in two of Indiana State's three goals over the course of the week, as the Sycamores extended their unbeaten run to eight matches and moved to 1-0-2 in MVC play. The sophomore forward tallied a goal and an assist in just 49 minutes of action over the week.
The Springboro, Ohio, native helped secure a point for the Blue and White with an equalizing goal midway through the second half of the Sycamores' 1-1 home draw with UIC.
