ST. LOUIS – Sophomores Jake LaRavia and Tre Williams continued to rack up the Missouri Valley Conference postseason awards Thursday, as the duo was named All-MVC Scholar-Athlete Second Team.
LaRavia, who was named to the All-MVC Second Team earlier this week, earned a spot on the Scholar-Athlete team thanks to his 3.30 grade-point average in Sport Management. The Indianapolis, Ind. native averaged 12.5 points and tied for the team-high in rebounding at 6.1 boards per game, while averaging 11.8 points and 6.2 rebounds in Valley play.
Williams, who earned a spot on the MVC All-Defensive team this week, holds a 3.
