TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Sycamore Baseball (33-19, 12-8 MVC) evened the series with Evansville (27-24, 9-11 MVC) on Friday night after a 7-0 shutout win, despite unfavorable weather conditions. Junior Ryan Keaffaber went the distance to toss his third complete game of the season, his second in shutout fashion, while striking out seven Purple Aces. The Sycamore offense took the early advantage, tallying eight total hits on the night.
Indiana State struck first in the second inning as senior Kaden Moore hit a double off the center field wall, just before sophomore Dane Giesler reached on a walk.
