ST LOUIS - Middle blocker Damadj Johnson has been selected to the Missouri Valley Conference's All- Freshman Team, the league office announced Thursday afternoon during its annual award ceremony in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
"We knew Damadj was going to come in and have a huge impact on our team," said head coach Traci Dahl-Skinner. "She is a very hard worker and is always doing what is best for the team. This award speaks volumes and I couldn't be more proud."
The East Saint Louis, Illinois native led the Sycamores with 107 total blocks this season.
