ST. LOUIS – Junior Jerry Nunez was named to the Missouri Valley Football Conference Preseason Second Team by the League office Tuesday. He is the lone Sycamore on the offensive side of the ball to earn a preseason honor. The MVFC will announce its defensive preseason teams Wednesday, August 1 at 11 a.m. ET.
The Naples, Florida native saw the field in 10 games for the Sycamores in 2017. He went 9-of-14 on field goals and 15-of-17 on PAT attempts. Nunez hit two field goals in the season opener against Eastern Illinois. Nunez also had two field goals at Liberty and at South Dakota.
