LEXINGTON, Ky. – For the 18th straight season, the Indiana State Volleyball program has earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for its efforts in the classroom in the 2015-16 season.
It was another banner year in the classroom for Indiana State, who turned in a 3.53 team GPA for the 2015-16 season. The Sycamores held the highest team GPA amongst all sports at Indiana State and earned the Athletic Director’s cup for academic excellence at the annual spring banquet. Three Sycamores earned Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Team selections which was the most for the program since 2011 and tied for second-most on the list in 2015.
