NEW ORLEANS – Indiana State’s women’s track program and six other individual student-athletes have been honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as part of their All-Academic teams.
The Sycamore women’s squad was one of 220 women’s teams and 332 total teams of either gender to earn the team honor. In order to be eligible, teams must have finished the season with a 3.0 cumulative team GPA. Indiana State came away with the honor after finishing the 2015-16 school year with a 3.19 cumulative GPA.
A total of 1,480 individual student-athletes were honored – 910 women from 192 different schools and 570 men from 161 schools.
