TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State women's soccer will travel to face off with Northern Iowa on Oct. 26 at 5 p.m.
The Sycamores enter the match coming off a heartbreaking 2-1 loss to the Valparaiso Crusaders.
Both teams battled throughout the match, each one looking for a vitally important Missouri Valley Conference win. Each team fired six shots in the second half as they remained evenly matched.
In the 65th minute Valparaiso's efforts paid off as Grace Rogers sent a long, 30 yard overhead pass finding the head of Cory Griffith on the Sycamore's back post who placed it into the net for a goal.
