INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana State University’s Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has once again received high marks from the NCAA in its annual release of the Academic Progress Rate (APR) data.
All sports offered by Indiana State received APR marks well above the standards set forth by the NCAA – including two perfect scores of 1000 during the 2014-15 academic year by the women’s golf and softball teams.
The NCAA holds Division I institutions accountable for the academic progress of their student-athletes through the APR, a team-based metric that accounts for the eligibility and retention of each student-athlete during each term.
