WATERLOO, Iowa – Freshman scored her team-high fourth goal of the season in the 75 minute to equalize a Missouri Valley Conference road contest at Northern Iowa but the Panthers pushed their second goal into the back of the net late in the first overtime to take a 2-1 decision on a cold and windy day at the Cedar Valley Soccer Complex.
ISU fell to 3-7-2, 1-1-1 MVC while Northern Iowa improved to 5-7-0, 1-2-0 MVC. The Sycamores were vying for the best start to a conference season in program history with a win or tie.
