Terre Haute, Ind.—The Indiana State Sycamores welcomed the University of Illinois Fighting Illini today for their second home meet.
Despite falling to the Illini by a final score of 184 to 77 the Sycamores continue to improve every single week that they compete. This week Indiana State set eight out of 14 new school records.
“Our dual meet lineup today was a little bit different from what we would normally go with just so we can get some more experience and that’s kind of been the name of the game for our program. We’re really trying to get our student-athletes experience and if you swam the same events every meet there is hard to see much change,” said head coach Matt Leach.
