Terre Haute, Ind.—Indiana State defeated the Eastern Kentucky Colonels tonight in their first exhibition game by a score of two to zero.
The Sycamores posted their first goal in the 17th minute when senior Maddie Orf shot from 30 yards out. The ball was flicked by an EKU defender and floated right into the back of the net.
Freshman Kayla Trinka also got on the scoreboard tonight. In the 52nd minute sophomore forward Kayla Schrubb centered a cross to Trinka who fired from 18 yards into to the far corner.
