ASHEVILLE, NC. – Indiana State women's soccer played to a 1-1 draw Sunday afternoon against UNC Asheville at Greenwood Soccer Field.
The Sycamores put nine shots on goal in the first half but were kept off the board with UNC Asheville goalie Bronwyn Luitwieler making five saves. and the Indiana State defense held the Bulldogs to just three shots to make it a scoreless first half.
Kaiya Boyd gave UNC Asheville the lead in the 64 minute when Barrett Edison and Alice Walker helped find her open to score her first goal of the season.
