TERRE HAUTE, Ind.—After winning sweeping their first Missouri Valley Conference series of the season last weekend at Northern Iowa, the Indiana State softball team will hit the road for the second, of three straight road Missouri Valley Conference series, at Illinois State. The Sycamores enter the weekend with a 9-24 overall record and 3-5 in MVC play while Illinois State is 10-24 and 2-6 in league action. The Sycamores are led offensively by senior Alexa Cavin who is hitting .373 overall, good enough for ninth in the league while junior Brooke Riemenschneider is 10th in the league at .
