TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State volleyball's Kira Holland was named this week's Hannig Construction Indiana State Student-Athlete of the Week, as announced by the athletic department Monday afternoon.
Holland helped lead the Sycamores to a perfect 3-0 weekend at the Tiger Invitational in Nashville, Indiana State's first 3-0 tournament weekend since the 2021 season. She averaged nearly four kills and four digs per set for the weekend as Indiana State downed Tennessee State (three sets), Idaho (four sets) and Chattanooga (five sets).
The Medina, Ohio, native recorded her first career 20-20 match and the first 20-20 for a Sycamore since October 2022 with career highs of 22 kills and 21 digs in the win over Chattanooga.
