CARBONDALE, Ill. – Four players scored in double digits but a deadly fourth quarter doomed Indiana State on the road at Southern Illinois, 76-64, on Friday evening.
Redshirt senior Cierra Ceazer led with 14 points and a team-high eight rebounds, including four offensive boards. Freshman guard Tierra Webb added 11 points off the bench on 5-for-6 shooting and junior forwards Joyea Marshall and Rhagen Smith each chipped in 10.
ISU posted a 41.7 percent effort from the floor on the night including a 48.3 percent clip in the first half. They were narrowly outrebounded in the loss, 38-36, led by Ceazer’s eight and seven from Marshall.
